Are you ready to make this change?

If you are ready to make this change, there are some things you need to know:

First, God loves you! The God of the Bible loves with an everlasting love. His mercies never cease, they are new every morning. His faithfulness to His promises never fail. (Lamentations 3: 22-23) He loves us every day, every moment.

Second, we have all sinned. The Bible teaches us in Isaiah 53:6 that “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, everyone to his own way…” Romans 3:23 states, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…” Romans 3: 10-11b further states that “None is righteous, no one understands, no one seeks for God”. We are all sinners.

Third, we are powerless to help ourselves. The power for our salvation comes from Jesus alone. We must recognize our sinfulness and confess it to Jesus. In His Grace, He will forgive us. Then, by faith we must accept His free gift of grace called Salvation.

Question #1:  Why Do We Need A Change?

Answer:   Because we have all turned away from God and turned after our own way, we are spiritually dead in our trespasses and sins (Ephesians 2:1-3).  Our fellowship with the God Who made us is broken.  But, out of His great love and compassion for us, He makes us alive together with Jesus Christ; by His grace He saves us.  “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

It is not the good life we live or the good deeds we do that make us acceptable to God.  It is the goodness and loving kindness of God through faith in Jesus Christ according to His mercy that we are made new and, being justified by His grace, we become heirs to the hope of eternal life (Titus 3:4-6).

Have you ever realized your need for a personal relationship with God?

If you died today do you have an assurance that you would go to Heaven?

Question #2:  How Do We Make The Change?

Answer:  There is only one way to be restored to right relationship with God.  Only one way to have fellowship with Him now and in eternity.  “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified and with the mouth one confesses and is saved (Romans 10:9-10).

Romans 10:11-12 further states that “Everyone who believes in Him will not be put to shame… and that the Lord of all bestows His riches on all who call on Him”. “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13

The Bible teaches that if we seek Him with all of our heart, we will find Him (Jeremiah 29:13). It also teaches that if we confess our sins, (agree with God that we have turned away from Him and gone after our own way), He will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

We encourage you to make the decision today, for we do not know what tomorrow will bring (James 4:14).

Today, you can ask Jesus to come into your heart so that you can be at peace with God and live life in the fullness of His Grace. Just pray, “Jesus, I am a sinner. I’m asking you to forgive me. I believe in my heart that You bled and died on the Cross for my sins. I believe that You rose from the dead and You are now seated at the right Hand of God The Father praying for me. I thank You for forgiving me and being my Lord and Savior. Amen”

Question #3: What’s Next?

Answer:  Your journey has just begun! If you have prayed this prayer of salvation, your life is changed. New life in Jesus Christ means all Heaven is rejoicing and we, your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, rejoice with you! As you learn daily to surrender your will to God and grow in faith, trusting and believing in the work Jesus Christ has done for you, The Holy Spirit, Whom God has given to all believers as a guarantee of your new life in Christ, will lead and guide you into all truth (2 Corinthians 1:22; John 16:13).
